Easy White Sangria Recipe

Easy white sangria recipe – a perfect summer dink filled with fresh fruit and white wine.

What is white wine sangria

You’re probably most familiar with red wine sangria, especially since sangria does translate to “bloodletting”, hence why red wine is used, but white sangria is a lighter and fresher take on the popular drink made with white wine.

How to make white sangria

  • In a large pitcher add in the lime, lemon, peach Brandy, and sugar. With a wooden spoon gently crush the fruits.

You could use any fruit-flavored brandy like apple or apricot

  • Next add in the strawberries, peaches, apple, and orange. Give it a stir and add in the white wine. Stir again.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours before serving
  • Serve with frozen fruit or fruit from the bottom of the glass, add fresh mint and top off with sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale to dilute.

What is the best wine to use

For this white sangria use a white wine that you prefer because this will be the main taste. A crisp white wine would do well like:

Pinot Grigio

Sauvignon blanc

How long will this sangria last

Homemade sangria will last up to a few days in the fridge. Make sure it’s in a pitcher with a tight cover.

What to serve this drink with

White sangria will go great with any of your favorite summer appetizers like honey bbq chicken wings, or any Mexican/Spanish food – chicken tacos, chipotle chicken flatbread, or taquitos.
