apples
cored, peeled (optional), sliced into thick pieces

tablespoon
avocado oil
or coconut oil
1
tsp
cinnamon
Crisp Topping
1
cup
old fashioned oats
½
tsp
cinnamon
1/4
tsp
nutmeg
¼
tsp
ginger
⅓
cup
walnuts
or pecans; finely chopped
1
tablespoon
honey
or maple syrup
2
tablespoons
coconut oil
or melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° and grease your baking dish
Peel, core, and slice your apple.
Mix the melted avocado oil (or coconut oil) with the apples and cinnamon.
In a new bowl mix the crips topping.
Add the apples to your pan and then pour the crisp mixture evenly over the apples.
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 mins. Remove the foil and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and apples are bubbling.
Let the apple crisp rest for 10 minutes before serving
